If you’ve ever purchased a goggle for mountain biking, chances are it was either an MX goggle or a snow goggle. Even if it has been marketed as a MTB goggle, there’s a strong chance that the goggles were originally designed for a sport other than mountain biking. Both snow and MX goggles tend to be very tall from the nose bridge to the top of the goggle. This, as you’ve probably noticed, presents fit problems when used with a full face MTB helmet (which tend to have a smaller opening than an MX helmet). The result of this poor fit is often an ill-positioned helmet and excess pressure on the nose, which restricts breathing.

We addressed this problem by creating a higher nose bridge which allows the goggle to sit lower on the face, and designing the overall shape to work with brow shapes of the most popular full face MTB helmets. The result is an extremely comfortable and effective goggle — the first one in the world truly designed from the ground up to properly address the challenges presented by freeride and downhill MTB.

We designed MTB-specific vents because every other goggle that’s marketed as a mountain bike goggle is actually an MX or snow goggle with MX or snow-specific vents. Mountain biking presents a whole new set of challenges over MX and snow sports when it comes to airflow, so the sport demands its own venting designs. Our vents are designed to block the vapour from your mouth and nose, while channeling fresh air from the front and sides of the goggle to flow up the back of the lens, keeping your face cool and eliminating fog problems.

Flexibility is important in a goggle frame because it allows it to form to your face. Flexibility also contributes to this goggle being extremely durable and impact-resistant.

The by-product of a great design coupled with a flexible frame material, this goggle frame can take the abuse that any piece of freeride or DH MTB equipment should.

High-density, multi-layer, hypoallergenic foam is used on the back of the goggle to ensure comfort and create a perfect seal.

Designed to adjust around all sizes of helmets, our MTB goggle straps are treated with anti-slip beading to ensure that everything stays in position no matter how treacherous the conditions.

Polycarbonate is the extraordinarily durable thermoplastic that’s used in bulletproof glass, riot shields and astronaut helmets. It’s the ideal material for performance eyewear because of its high impact resistance, inherent UV protection and light weight. All of our lenses are made of polycarbonate.

All of our lenses block 100% of UVA, UVB, and UVC rays, and harmful blue light to 400nm. These harmful rays are a leading cause of cataracts, skin cancer and wrinkles around the eyes—all great reasons to block them out.

All of our lenses are shatterproof, meaning they won’t break up into dangerous little shards when impacted. An extremely strong impact may damage the lens, but it will never shatter. If astronauts trust this material to keep their heads from exploding while on a 17,000 mph space walk, you’ll have nothing to worry about on your adventures, no matter how fast you’re going.

Especially beneficial in cold conditions, this coating helps to prevent condensation on the inside of the lens.

We apply a scratch-resistant coating to all of our lenses. Though this process makes the surface of the lens considerably harder than the base lens material, it’s impossible to make the lenses completely scratch proof (short of making them from diamonds) so please care for them properly as they may still scratch under certain conditions.

Primarily used for DH racing, we make tear-offs for sloppy conditions. These integrated posts are a much better option than aftermarket stick-ons, and our tear-offs are designed to fit perfectly on our MTB-specific goggle lenses. If you use tear-offs, please remember not to litter.
