At Ryders Eyewear, we are committed to protecting and enhancing vision!
We offer a lifetime warranty against manufacturer’s defects on all of our eyewear for the life of the eyewear. Ryders Eyewear will replace any product that proves to be defective. Please read the following warranty fine print to determine what constitutes an eligible claim:
- Our warranty covers manufacturer’s defects only.
- Our warranty does not cover damage caused by normal wear & tear, including bike crashes, dog chewing incidents or ending up on the wrong side of a dispute with a derrière.
- Our warranty does not cover scratched or broken lenses.
- Our warranty does not cover lost or stolen eyewear (although we agree that sucks).
- Our warranty applies to residents of North America only.
- Our warranty is offered to the original eyewear purchaser only.
- If you make a warranty claim on a style no longer available, your eyewear will be replaced with similar style of equal or lesser value.
- Rubber temple and nose pieces will wear with use (especially when sunscreen is worn). While we don’t warranty wear& tear, we do our best to provide replacement ear and nose pieces whenever possible (see below).
Making a Warranty Claim
Return to Dealer: If your sunglasses or goggles are found to be defective, immediate gratification can be obtained by returning them to the Ryders Eyewear dealer you purchased them from. Your dealer will provide you with a replacement pair of sunglasses at no cost to you. If they are not currently carrying the style you are returning, they will replace it with a style of equal or lesser value.
Return to Ryders: If you are unable to return your glasses to the point of purchase, you are welcome to send them in to our warranty department directly. Simply fill out our warranty claim form and include it in the package with your defective glasses. We recommend that you send in your eyewear using a traceable shipping method. Please note that there is a $10.00 processing fee for all warranty items, payable by credit card. When we process your claim, we will email you a payment link to complete your payment on-line.
Warranty Related Q&A
Q. If I am not covered under warranty, do you repair or sell replacement sunglass frames or lenses?
A. No, we do not currently repair sunglasses that are not covered by warranty.
Q. Can you supply me with replacement nose pads and ear pads for my Ryders?
A. Usually!
Email Us and include your name, address and a note letting us know what model you have and what you need. The model name and number are located inside the arm of your glasses (e.g. Rocklslide R447-006). If we have pads for the glasses you have, we will send them to you! To attach nose and ear pads to your glasses, use a gel-based superglue.
