Lauren Groves has been named Olympic Distance, Elite Women, Triathlete of the Year by Triathlon Magazine Canada.

Janick Lemieux and Pierre Bouchard, both from Quebec, have been roaming the planet on their mountain bikes for nearly two decades.  Their current project began in 1999 and involves riding from one active volcano to the next around the Pacific Ocean, following the so-called Pacific 'Ring of Fire'. After completing their last leg - riding from Vancouver to the Aleutian Islands in Alaska and finishing with a short ride through Hawaii – their 70,000km odyssey will come to an end.
