DESIGN PHILOSOPHY: fit for general use

AIRFLOW — make sure your glasses have a bit of breathing room

The snugger the fit, the less peripheral light that reaches the eye. The more space, however, the better the airflow and ventilation. Airflow helps to regulate temperature and minimize fogging in colder climates.

LENS COVERAGE — take reflected and peripheral light into account
Some sports, such as road cycling and mounatin biking, people require larger lenses in order to protect against wind, dirt and debris. Runners can often get away with a smaller lens because they don’t need to protect against these elements to such a high degree. It’s important to make sure that your lens provides enough coverage however, that you’re sufficiently protected against peripheral and reflected light. Polarized lenses are also extremely beneficial in cutting the glare of reflected light.

COMFORT — find a pair that will stay put
Our ultra-lightweight and extremely flexible TR90 frames will provide a very comfortable fit and secure fit. For harder-to-fit faces, some people like customizing features such as adjustable nose pads that are included on some frames.

VISIBLE LIGHT TRANSMISSION — location, light conditions, weather, and duration of your run should all be considered before selecting the appropriate lenses
This is simply how light or dark a lens is. All of our lenses are shatterproof and block 100% of the UV they encounter, so you can pick a lens shade without concern of compromised protection. Please consider where you will be wearing your glasses, for what sports, and in what conditions. If you’re likely to encounter a mixed bag of light conditions, or if you head out no matter what the weather, you might be best to consider a Photochromic pair that adjusts to the light conditions automatically. If you want a couple of different colour options, perhaps an Interchangeable pair will serve you best.
